CBSE Class X results

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) will declare the Class X results on Tuesday the May 29th 2018. The Class XIIth result was declared on May 26th, 2018. This year 28 lakh students appeared in the Board's annual exam, out of which 16 lakh students appeared for the All India Secondary School Exam (AISSE) or Class X exam. The result of X Class will be available at cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in, Microsoft SMS Organiser app, www.google.com, www.bing.com and UMANG app.

The mark sheets for the Class X of CBSE will be provided in DigiLocker. The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMS on their registered mobile number. DigiLocker can also be accessed from mobile phone number on Android platform. Students can also view their results on UMANG mobile application, which is available for Andriod, iOS and Windows-based smartphones.

The facility has been made by CBSE to check the results via mobile phone. The result can also be available via SMS, the numbers are 52001 (MTNL), 57766 (BSNL), 5800002 (Aircel), 55456068 (Idea), 54321, 51234 and 54321202 (Airtel), and 9212357123 (National Informatics Centre). 

The overall pass percentage is expected to increase this year. After re-introducing compulsory board exams this year, the Board decided to revise the pass mark criteria for this batch only as 'this batch is from a different assessment background, while they were in class IX'.

As per the change in revision, a student has to secure 33% marks in total (internal assessment and board examination taken together) in order to pass the examination. For the typing error in Class X English paper, the Board has decided to give two marks to all the students who had appeared for the paper.
